Future development of land to the north east of Elsenham has been subject of extensive consultation as part of the Uttlesford Local Development Framework process. Further consultation is expected to be undertaken by Uttlesford District Council on the Local Development Framework Core Strategy in 2009. Consultation on the identification of Elsenham as a potential Eco-town location was also undertaken by the Department for Communities and Local Government in response to the Eco-towns: Living A Greener Future. The results of this can be seen by clicking here.
